Case File #2 Part #35

That is when you came to the house. Sadie could hear you two struggling inside, and she could hear the sirens coming in the distance, too, but she also knew there wasn’t much time to waste. It took all of the energy and strength Sadie had to get to her feet and stammer back into the house. That’s where she picked up the shotgun laying on the floor, and, using the solid wood butt end of it, promptly hit Bob the trucker in the back of the head. This knocked him out cold – the police arrived within a few minutes thereafter, and then you woke up. Pretty fun night, huh Alex?

Case File #2 Part #34

Sadie explains to you the whole situation – how she woke up just as Bob was about to attack her. She tried to scream then, but her mouth wouldn’t open; it was frozen in fear. She managed to kick the trucker, which distracted him long enough to allow her to get to her feet and run inside the house. Sadie hurried upstairs, where she called the police.

But Bob was hot on her trial, and after she made the report he was in the process of knocking down the door of the upstairs bedroom. Sadie jumped out the second story window, and she screamed several times – once as soon as she jumped, and several times after she landed…

Case File #2 Part #33

You are suddenly hit with rush of air, and your body jumps back to life. Slowly you open your eyes, and attempt to recover – as your eyesight comes back to normal, you see Sadie standing there above you – she had just revived you by CPR.

Behind her stand four police officers, who are picking up Bob off from the floor of the old house. He is in handcuffs, and is being dragged away and out the door just as Sadie takes your hand and helps you to your feet.

“Alex! I’m so glad you are safe – I was so worried!” Sadie wraps her arms around you and gives you a big kiss.

Case File #2 Part #32

You continue to struggle for what seems like hours with the large trucker – but you know it hasn’t been anywhere near the long. He manages to pin both of your arms down with his knees, and wraps his huge hands around your neck. Bob begins to squeeze, and you feel the life being choked out of your very body. You struggle to catch a breath, but it’s useless – you’re dying, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

For a brief moment you see your entire life flash before your eyes as they roll into the back of your head and your eyelids shut. Darkness…

Case File #2 Part #31

Bob the trucker manages to knock the Swiss Army Knife out of your hand, and he grabs a hold of your wrist. The two of you continue to struggle with one another for what seems like hours – though the sirens are still growing louder, they police don’t seem to be getting here any faster. You’re not even certain who called them, or how the police know you’re in trouble. The only thing that you do know is that you need to do something to get this guy off from you, and fast. All of the sudden Bob takes control over you, rolling you over onto your back…

Case File #2 Part #30

You land on top of the guy and begin slashing blindly at the man. Suddenly you hear sirens in the distance – they scared you off once before, but this time it is a great sound – you know that help is just around the corner. And judging by the fact that they are getting louder and louder, it’s only a matter of seconds before the police burst in to the house, guns drawn. They’ll bring this battle to an end once and for all, and put this lunatic behind bars. All you have to do is keep him at bay for another couple of minutes until they arrive…

Case File #2 Part #29

As soon as you make your way into the front room of the enormous house, a shotgun blast rings out. It barely misses you, and instead blows a huge hole in the wall at your side. Though it is dark inside the house, you can see the person at the other end of the hallway holding the shotgun – it is Bob, the trucker. He must have set you up for this!

With your adrenaline pumping and forced with no other option, you lunge at the deranged truck driver, Swiss Army Knife clutched in your fist and at the ready. He tries to take another shot as you jump at him, but you manage to knock the shotgun away just in time.

Case File #2 Part #28

As you approach the threshold of the open doorway leading into the large, ominous house, you hear nothing but silence from inside. And it is the spooky kind of silence, too…you stop for a moment to catch your breath, and calm down your heartbeat. It is beating a million miles per minute, and your adrenaline is rushing like you’ve never felt it before.

Reaffirming your grip on the handle of you Swiss Army Knife, slowly you begin your entrance into the house; ever so cautiously one foot follows the other through the doorway. There are no lights coming from inside the house – it is completely dark…

Case File #2 Part #27

A closer look at some of the bodies confirms this; everybody’s throat has been cut in their sleep, and they are all now laying in pools of their own blood.

Then you hear another scream, once again coming from inside the house.

For a second you put your hands to your forehead in panic; trying hastily to come up with a plan. But you have no plan, just reaction – and your gut reaction tells you that somebody in that house needs your help.

Suddenly you go from a shocked standstill to a full sprint towards the large house. You grab the Swiss Army Knife from your pocket, your only weapon as your draw near the open door of the house.

Case File #2 Part #26

You wake up in the morning to a very uncomfortable silence. As you stand up, stretch your arms out and yawn, you find it odd that you are the only one awake – everybody else still lies wherever they fell the night below. Everybody except for Sadie that is, who is nowhere to be found.

“Sadie!” You call out, hoping for an answer.

Suddenly you hear a faint scream coming from the large house in the distance, and that’s when you suddenly realize the horrific truth of exactly why nobody else is stirring on this breezy early morning; each and every one of them has been murdered.
