Happy Halloween

Today is Halloween! Hopefully everyone has their costumes picked up, their Trick-Or-Treat route loaded up on the GPS and their Halloween parties planned out. Just remember to stay safe this year, and make this a Happy Halloween for everybody. If possible, try to minimize accidents and avoid driving while the kids are out Trick-Or-Treating – and if you are partying later on in the night, don’t drive at all if you have been drinking – it’s just not worth it.

Thanks for stopping by the whodunnit blog today – rest assured we’ll have the continuation of our second mystery soon, and we already have the next mystery set and ready to go.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Jennifer Hudson News

Academy award winning singer and actress, Jennifer Hudson has lived through a horrific nightmare that nobody should ever have to face – the murder of her mother, her brother, and her seven year old nephew. The bodies were all found in the city of Chicago, and the news has taken everyone by storm. The police do have a suspect in custody – the ex-husband of Jennifer’s sister. Jennifer Hudson made it famous with her appearance on American Idol, and even made it as a finalist in the show’s third season. She has released no comment publicly on the matter.

Our condolences go out to her and her loved ones.

Case File #2 Part #27

A closer look at some of the bodies confirms this; everybody’s throat has been cut in their sleep, and they are all now laying in pools of their own blood.

Then you hear another scream, once again coming from inside the house.

For a second you put your hands to your forehead in panic; trying hastily to come up with a plan. But you have no plan, just reaction – and your gut reaction tells you that somebody in that house needs your help.

Suddenly you go from a shocked standstill to a full sprint towards the large house. You grab the Swiss Army Knife from your pocket, your only weapon as your draw near the open door of the house.

Case File #2 Part #26

You wake up in the morning to a very uncomfortable silence. As you stand up, stretch your arms out and yawn, you find it odd that you are the only one awake – everybody else still lies wherever they fell the night below. Everybody except for Sadie that is, who is nowhere to be found.

“Sadie!” You call out, hoping for an answer.

Suddenly you hear a faint scream coming from the large house in the distance, and that’s when you suddenly realize the horrific truth of exactly why nobody else is stirring on this breezy early morning; each and every one of them has been murdered.

Get Smart Review Part 2

Yesterday we posted part one of our multi part review of the 2008 film, Get Smart. And today we have part two ready for you to enjoy.

The main partner of Maxwell Smart is known simply as Agent 99, and was played by Barbara Feldon in the 1960’s series and Anne Hathaway in the 2008 film. Because Max is so accident prone, Agent 99 is usually the one who ends up saving the day, while Max takes all the credit. Of course, there is no sense in having a secret organization within the United States government without having some kind of villainous archenemy; and that is where KAOS comes in.

Get Smart Review Part 1

Several weeks ago we covered the original series 1965 series Get Smart – and now we’ll compare it with the new remake in a multi part, in depth review of Get Smart: The Movie.

Get Smart is a 2008 movie remake of the 1965 comedy classic series of the same name. Created originally by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, the main storyline revolves around Maxwell Smart, who is also known by his codename of Agent 86. Originally played by Don Adams and featuring Steve Carell in the updated movie, Max is a bumbling secret agent who works for a highly classified agency known as CONTROL.

Case File #2 Part #25

Hours pass, as the night goes on and the party continues. Slowly people begin to fall asleep and pass out, finding their beds on the hard dirt ground. As it gets late you place your backpack behind your head, lean back and close your eyes. It has been a long day – in fact it’s been a long week, even a long year – and you’ve learned to make the most out of any kind of nap you can get. As you slowly begin to drift into slumber, you feel a light rain move over the commune – but you pay it no mind and soon fall fast asleep.

Case File #2 Part #24

After Sadie explains to you the ins and outs of their commune, she invites you to take a seat with her next to the campfire. She introduces you to a couple of her friends, who greet you with smiles and enthusiastic handshakes.

A bottle of some kind of mysterious liquid, probably moonshine is being passed around freely, and after taking a long swig Sadie hands it to you.

“No thanks, Sadie – I’ve had a long day.”

“Well if you’ve had a long day, there’s nothing better for ya!”

“No, really, I’m not much of a drinker.”

“Fine, if ya don’t want to, ya don’t want to. More for us!” Sadie takes another large chug and passes it on.
