Case File #1 Part #11

Mr. MaPall closes the large door behind the group with an echoing thud. They find themselves standing in a very dark house. There are many bookcases that line the walls, but they still aren’t enough to hold all of the books, magazines and old newspapers. Not only are they overflowing in piles, stacks and messes as far as the eye can see, they are all covered in dust, too.

A musty smell fills the room seconds after the door is shut; a large, black, wrought iron chandelier that is covered with cobwebs flickers on and off briefly, before an older, yet spry looking gentleman begins making a slow descent down the winding staircase…
